The Laval pocket mattress is a two-sided model with a firmness of H3 medium and H4. The rule of thumb for choosing a mattress according to your body shape is that the higher the weight of the sleeper, the firmer the mattress should be. The H4 mattress has an additional coconut shell fibre insert on the side to add rigidity. The fibres have an above-average durability that prevents the liner from deforming even under heavy weight. However, if the sleeper experiences hip or shoulder pain after a night on the mattress, it is recommended to use the softer side (H3). The foam without the additional coconut liner will allow the lighter person to sink into the mattress freely.
